Welcome at the Centre for Social Policy Research

The Centre for Social Policy Research (ZeS) is an interdisciplinary research institute at the University of Bremen. With its interdisciplinary approach and its central role in a national and international network on social policy research, the institute combines fundamental understanding of social processes related to the welfare state with aspects of social and political practice. Within its five departments scientists look into causes and effects of developments in social policy.
